About this Product
This is a bed delete plate for the Hobby Plus Arktos 6x6. The file is free to print on Maker World, this is for the people who don't have a printer.
My Arktos went on a weight loss journey. Removing the wooden bed I made and my side boxes dropped it around 150grams or so. The stock bed is heavier especially with the winch, head ache rack, etc
There is a version for the stock motor, or any similar sized motor. And one for when you install a 2204 outrunner like I did. With an outrunner it needs the front cut out so it doesn't hit. Please select accordingly.
I went semi comp-ish style trying to shed some weight and remove parts I got stuck on a lot. So bed and battery boxes left the chat. Wanted to cover up the wires and everything in the center though. This uses 6 m2 screws around 6mm/8mm long to attach it. The holes in the frame are threaded so the holes in the plastic are barely smaller to only thread a little. I just squeezed the frame rails together as I installed the bolts so they wouldn't push away. If you have your shock in the holes that I used those should hold it enough or get a little bit longer ones. It's just to keep it from moving around.
I have a video going over this and some upgrades on my YouTube Channel, CK Crawling, linked below:
Due to the nature of this hobby (outside rock crawling with scrapes, drops, and usually water) there are no returns. If you have an issue upon delivery reach out and I will make it right if possible. But once mounted and used this is non returnable.
These are printed out of Petg and are durable but can break just like any other plastic.
